Riders Unlimited, Incorporated is a business operated with a Board of Directors and a small staff. Our current Board members are:

As one third of the Board rotates off each year, we are always interested in obtaining new members. Staff
Program Director: Rebekah Recker
Rebekah has been with the program since April 2002
when she began the second location of RUI outside of
Gibsonburg. Prior to that, she was the Program Director at
Saddle UP! outside of Franklin, Tennessee. Rebekah has
a B.S. in Special Education, is a NARHA certified instructor,
and a Special Olympics Equestrian Coach. Her accolades
include being selected as the coach for the 1999 World
Games Special Olympics Equestrian Team for Tennessee,
being selected as the 2004 NARHA Region IV Volunteer of the Year, and being selected as the 2008 NARHA Region IV Instructor of the Year. Outside of RUI, Rebekah has three draft ponies and one horse, two dogs, two cats and 30 chickens. Outside of horses, she enjoys refinishing old furniture and gardening. Her support system includes her husband of over 18 years, Gerard, and nine year old son, Josh.
Contract Instructor: Sonya Gower
Sonya began with RUI in the Fall of 2003 as a volunteer.
In November 2006, she received her NARHA instructing
certification. Outside of RUI, Sonya has two horses and
a dog. She is married and has two children.
