You have just reached the website for Riders Unlimited, Incorporated, Equestrian Programs.
We are the OLDEST 501(c)(3) non-profit therapeutic riding facility in Northwest Ohio.
We have been a PATH International member center since 1996 and are working on becoming a Premier Accredited Center.
Our staff includes a Chief Operating Officer, two PATH International Certified Instructors, a PATH International Instructor-in-Training, a Volunteer Coordinator, and an Administrative Assistant.
Our Chief Operating Officer became a PATH International certified instructor in 1995.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education.
She is an experienced Special Olympics World Games Equestrian Coach.
She has received the PATH International Region IV Volunteer of the Year and Instructor of the Year awards.
We have 11 horses ranging in age from 9 years old to 26 years old, from 40 inches tall to 16.0 hands.
All of the horses are capable of being ridden English or Western.
Three of the horses are also capable of driving.
Our facility is over 9 acres.
Includes both a 60' x 100' indoor and outdoor arenas.
The mounting area has a large mounting block, mounting ramp, and overhead lift.
The barn has 20 horse stalls, a wash stall, tack and feed rooms, and a classroom that are ALL handicap accessible.
There is an attached office complex with full kitchen, lounge, conference room, and offices.
There are three bathrooms: one handicapped accessible, one full bath, and one 3/4 bath.
